My congratulations and two doubts

PostPosted by Praxedes » Sun Jul 23, 2017 12:55 pm

Hi! It's my first message here.

I used "PhrasesExpress" and "ClipX", of which I never bought the paid versions.
I knew your software yesterday and it took me a few minutes to buy it :)
Congratulations on the job, it is a tool of enormous value even for beginners.
I do not know anything about macros or scripts, but even if I only use it to expand text and autocomplete, it's already worth the acquisition.
I read and read for hours and try to learn for myself, but there are simple things that I can not find.

(1) I would like to ask how is the best way to replace a word that shows
a drop down with several options to insert. Or any other suitable way.

(2) On the other hand, and sorry to ask so much,
I would like to know a keyboard shortcut to paste the penultimate
and previous to the penultimate element of the clipboard.

Investigating a little I have done other things like this, which for me are a whole world :P
· Command: puu.sh/wQSVN/4648b3fc88.txt
· Video: puu.sh/wQSQE/7979143d67.webm

A million thanks, and congratulations again.

Hi and thanks for your kind words, I'm glad FastKeys works for you. :D

(1) There are few ways to do this. The simplest is to create a Text Expander item with multiple suggestions. Do this by using "/" separator at the beginning of a new row, like this:
Code: Select all
email1@gmail.com
/email2@gmail.com
/email3@gmail.com

You can chnage the separator character in Preferences/Text Expander/Separator.

(2) It is currently not possible to do this using a direct shortcut. You can use a Crtl+Alt+V default shortcut to show a popup and select a desired clipboard item.

Please let me know if you will have any other question or need support.

Great :) I used "/" but I did it wrong. It works perfect already. Thank you!
