Text Expander - Sort

PostPosted by JGM22 » Wed Dec 23, 2015 6:35 pm

Please consider providing the ability to sort the text expander items by maybe adding a sort to the context menu, currently reordering is a manual and cumbersome process.

Thank you, much appreciated as always...JGM

Column sorting is available already from version 3.07. Enable this feature in Preferences, then click on column heading to sort.

The column sorting function does not seem to extend further. For example, items in a phrase file are presented in 2 columns, but clicking the column headers does nothing - even when column sorting is turned on in preferences.

It would be very helpful if column sorting applied in all instances where columns are displayed.

Thanks for your consideration!

Thanks, we can add Phrase File/Wordlist sorting feature, of course.

Language Wordlists (like English Common Words etc.) contain words sorted by frequency of occurrence - in this case user would have to be careful with the sorting.
